KLDMC hold an Annual Vintage & Classic Car Rally during July. The rally has, over the years, consistently attracted a wide range of interesting vehicles from Edwardian veterans to '70s classics, with over 100 cars taking part again last year.

The event was introduced to the club calendar by Ivan Cunnington and Tony Longmate back in the 1970's - now it is run by Ivan & son Adrian. The next rally will be the 33rd running with Ivan in charge!  The date for this year's event is Sunday 11th July 2010.

Entry is open to both members and non-members of the Club who own a vintage or classic car that is at least 20 years old, although some concessions to more modern vehicles may be made at the organisers' discretion.

The day's programme normally follows the format:

• Assembly and registration at a pleasant location, close to Kings Lynn.
• Depart on a Run through the countryside to the lunch halt.
• Lunch in the relaxing surrounds of a Norfolk pub or Hotel - or bring your own picnic if you prefer.
• Over lunch, judging of entrants by their fellow competitors in their class.
• Continuation of the Run after lunch to another place of interest or stately home where presentation of awards and plaques takes place.

Previous rallies have visited historic houses such as Holkham, Houghton, Blickling, Felbrigg and Sandringham. In 2009 we finished at Somerleyton Hall in Suffolk and this year we will finish at Oxburgh Hall for the first time since 1994.
